He studied in Coimbra and in Paris, on a F.C.G. scholarship, between 1964 and 1968. Here he frequented “Ateliers Szabo” having take part in exhibitions.
He carried out portraits of Miguel Torga, Teixeira de Pascoaes and Afonso Duarte, inter alia.
His work involved materials such as stone, wood and metal. In the 1950's he adhered to proposals of an abstract nature to which he sometimes lends
an anecdotal quality.
