Biography
Born in V.N. Gaia, graduating in painting from the E.S.B.A.P., he also attended the School of Fine Arts of Paris, academies and the studio of the painter
André Lhote. He studied the fresco technique with Duco de la Haix. He was one of the founders of the Dominguez Alvarez Academy with Jaime Isidoro. He
was part of the Group of the “Independents” (the 1940's). His work fits in with the parameters disclosed by modernism with a clear palette and a very
delicate, elegant figuration, evolving, at its final stage, into onyrism, being served by an almost “naive” or child-like atmosphere and with an extremely
merry, smooth chromatism.
