Sounds at the Museum: a series of showcases to liven up the evenings at the Museum

28 June, 2022

Sons no Museu (Sounds at the Museum) - a series of showcases that began in April to liven up the evenings at the Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso Municipal Museum - returns on July 15 with the duo Modulatus, a dialog between Brazilian, Portuguese and jazz music. Side by side, Portuguese singer Laura Rui and Brazilian guitarist Iury Matias will improvise and promise new readings of world rhythms and sounds.

After Modulatus, on August 19 Mariana Dalot will perform, the 25-year-old singer from Braga who made her debut at the beginning of the year with the song "No Final", produced by Rui Pedro "Pity" Vaz (The Black Mamba). On September 16, the stage will be taken by Aníbal Zola, a singer-songwriter and bassist from Porto, with an academic background in Jazz, who released his third album, "Quem sai aos seus", in April. On October 21, the students of the Amarante Cultural Center will entertain the audience at Sons no Museu.

Created to showcase the museum's assets, increase the cultural offer and create new habits, Sounds of the Museum takes place on the third Friday of every month in the ASCMM Cloister.

The Sons no Museu showcases start at 6.30pm and admission is free. In April and May, the groups Solaris and the duo Emanuel Azevedo and Névio Silva performed at the ASCMM, respectively.
