The illustrations of the 105 children who took part in the Easter Workshop with the motto "Se eu fosse... Amadeo", which the Culture Department of the Municipality of Amarante promoted in the ATL's (Free Time Activities) of the municipality's school groups during the school vacations, between April 11 and 14, gave rise to the book with the same name as the Workshop.

Teachers, assistants and children received the book "Se eu fosse... Amadeo" last Friday, April 22, to mark World Book Day, which was celebrated on Saturday, April 23.

It should be noted that the activity was aimed at children aged three to 12 and the starting point was the story "Amadeo e o mundo às cores", by José Jorge Letria with illustrations by Chico.

The aim of the initiative was to combine teaching with play through drawing, writing and reading, and to let the children's creativity and imagination flow freely.

Rosário Correia Machado, Director of the Municipality's Culture Department, made a point of sending a postcard thanking everyone for hosting the workshop and for their tireless involvement in the initiative.
