Biography
Born in Lisbon, Romy Castro graduated in 1986 in Plastic Arts, Painting at the E.S.B.A.L.. She frequented the École Supérieur de Beaux-Arts de Paris.
She alternates academic studies in painting with research and practice in graphic design. She had an F.C.G. scholarship.
In 1988 she graduated in Painting from the Facultat Complutense Bellas-Artes in Madrid where she also carried out PhD studies in painting. In 2006
she obtained a Masters in Aesthetics and Philosophy of Arts with a phenomenonological and hermeneutic bent at the Faculty of Arts of the University of
Lisbon, and she is a PhD student at the University Nova de Lisbon.
