Biography
She was born in Lisbon in 1960. She completed the E.S.B.A.L. Painting course in 1984. She had an F.C.G. scholarship between 1985 and 1987. She had a
training post in Metal Engraving with Bartolomeu Cid at the House of Arts of Tavira in 1989. Between 1998 and 1999 she was the resident painter of the
Contemporary Art Museum Fortaleza de São Tiago, Funchal.
In 1995 she was invited by the Lisbon Underground to carry out a tiles panel for the Alvalade station. In 1997, at the invitation of the Portuguese Institute of
Architectonic Heritage, she carried out a cup made of porcelain as part of the project “One Artist, one Monument”. In 2002, at the invitation of Lisbon
Underground, she carried out several tiles panels for the Alfornelos station. de Alfornelos.
